Productive Surfing
April 22, 2023 All of us have spent lots of time "surfing". Quietly watching other people enjoying life, crafting, sports, Influencers, etc. So what do we get out of it? not much other than an escape from whatever is going on in our lives. Is it bad? not really, just a wasting of precious time. Now do we need to be productive at all times? Noooo. But can we develop something out of it? I say yes. Its a search engine for interesting things. Whether Hollywood gossip or hobbies. It an engagement in people, places and things. Ideas and advice we didn't know we needed. All good, except for just one thing. Can we find a way to feel better about this time spent on "unproductive" surfing? As a believer in positive thinking and doing, it can direct us to some growth and therefore productive endeavors. I come from a long line of fiber artists.
